About Me
My family name, Hoshino means stars and field,and my last name,Yuki means friends and hope. I like my name and I’ m proud that Japanese name has meaning, so I always explain about my name.
I come from Shizuoka. Shiauoka is very beautiful place that has mild climate. The people speaks the standard language slowly, so I was at loss to talk with Kansai people at first. Still I’m not used to listening Kansai dialect. I’ve lived Hirakata for one year, but it didn’t agree with me, so I moved to Kyoto. I enjoy my Kyoto life now.
My hobby is reading books. Maybe I can say that I can’t exist without books. I go to a bookstore alomost everyday. I spend about 20000 yen for books. It’s too much,I know… I read any genre, but I don’t read girls comicomic books, beause such kinds of books have nearly same story. So I got tired of them.
I love to visit foreign countries. I’ve been to New Zealand, Hawaii, Guam, Singapore,Iceland, England, and South Africa. I’d like to visit Mongolia, Egipt, Turkey, Morocco,and Thailand. I want to know how wonderful and wide this world is.
The reason I study English is that I’d like to do something for world peace in the future, for example making schools,or orphanage, supporting medical sercices in developing countries or so on. So I am in peace bulding seminar. Of course the reason is not only it, I belive English makes my life happier . If I can speak English I can go to all over the world and make friends with non Japanese people. It is so nice thing, isn’t it? I love English!
